My name is Soren, and I live in Copenhagen, Denmark, with my wife Lise.
My wife works in a kindergarten, and I work in my own company called Business Service Frederiksberg A/S.
We spend most of our holidays in Calabria, where we have made many friends, and we have really fallen in love with the “Foot of Italy.”
We purchased our holiday home in the outstanding San Lucido Beach Resort in 2008 - The dream of our lives :o)

We love Calabria because of the fantastic atmosphere in the extraordinary area in South Italy. The beach is superb, and the lovely village of San Lucido offers a great range of cafés, restaurants, and bars - there are even an English Pub and an Irish Pub in San Lucido, so you are never far away from your Guiness. There really is something for everyone here.

The area is easily accessible with Lamezia Terme Airport less than
45 minutes drive away from San Lucido Beach Resort.

In Calabria you get two climates and two holidays in one:
- On the coast is the hot, sunny Mediterranean climate with wide
  sandy beaches. Local agriculture produces excellent local wine
  and food. The sea produces fresh catches every day.
- Inland, high up in the mountains, are virgin pine forests with
  alpine cool air and clear mountain streams.
The amazing thing is that these two climates exist within 20 kilometres of each other.

Our holiday apartment is just 2 minutes walk from the fabulous beach of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Beach towels, beach chairs, and umbrellas are included in the rental, so you can travel light and make the most of your holiday and the great coastline.

For those who enjoy a more active holiday, you can take advantage of San Lucido Beach Resort’s 2 swimming pools, 2 tennis courts, and the nearby San Michele Golf Club (click for details)
And not to forget the fantastic skiing areas in the Sila Mountains less than one hour drive away. You can rent skiing equipment at the slopes.
